“Delicious Food and what a friendly place!!”

Came here for a friends birthday dinner with a group of us and had a really nice dinner! We pre-ordered our meals that day as there was more than 6 of us which meant our meals were ready straight away after our FREE taster bowl of soup!! Lovely people working here and i would happily recommend!!

“Awesome!”

Food was awesome!! Huge generous portions. Cute-looking and great tasting appetitisers to start us off. Yum! Place might be a wee bit tiny but makes it warm and cosy with nice little decors. Staff are the loveliest people ever! Very friendly and helpful. Price increased from previously, but I found it totally worthwhile to pay for it. Have to go many more times to try the rest of the menu. I have totally planned for my next visit!

Very Good food!

I had my first korean food ever in here and I was definitely not let down. Food is amazing and I cant wait to go back again. Only downside is the place is small and we had to wait outside to get seats. Other than that, very impressive.

“Authentic Korean food, which actually caters for vegetarians!”

Feb 07, 2013 by liz_gear

I came here with a Korean friend last year, who said that this was very authentic. Unlike authentic Korean restaurants however, they cater very well for vegetarians. I had a kimchi soup with fried tofu. It was extremely spicy, filling and offered an extremely unique dining experience. Whilst some of the tastes were similar to those typical of Japanese cuisine, Korean food is livelier, spicier and dare I say it, tastier! I may have just been spoiled with this very good little restaurant though, which provides lovingly made meals with fresh ingredients and a lovely presentation. There is a 10% student discount too.

“Real gem”

Excellent food, family-run as far as I can tell, and delivered with a smile. Decent prices, too. They don't have many covers, so call/book beforehand or be disappointed as I have found out the hard way on many an occasion! They're BYOB with a reasonable corkage (few quid only)

“An authentic taste of Korea”

From the quirky but delightful decor to the thoughtful chinaware, attentive service with explanations and last but not least the fantastic food, we can say we had a really great culinary night out in Edinburgh that took us far away from the grey skies and normal 'international cuisine' choices available in this city. One felt you were an honoured guest in a Korean family home, everything done with pride and care. I particularly enjoyed the Kimchi, and the green tea cake. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning.

“First taste of Korean food - loved it!”

I loved it from the minute we walked in! A lovely atmosphere, such a friendly man and wonderful food.

This was my first taste of Korean food and the man (Mr Kim?!) patiently spoke us through the menu and made recommendations. This was some of the tastiest food I've had in Edinburgh and I would highly recommend it.

The starters look like they are quite pricey but there is plenty for two, and I would highly recommend the pork ribs dish - it was GORGEOUS!

We will definately be back.

This restaurant has a unique atmosphere and is never a dissappointemnt.
I am actually going this week again so looking forward to it very much.

There is a good selection of food, including home-made kimchi which is delicious.
what is important is that there

The decor of the place is a bit quirky, in a good way. All the staff (I suppose they are all family) are cool. The place is a bit small so might not be
The prices are definitely very decent as well.

Truly original and delicious Korean food.

What a fab little restaurant! My husband and I popped here for a quick and delicious meal, and were welcomed by friendly staff and the owner, who were able to squeeze us in without a reservation. It's a wee place, and we were tucked away in a side room, but we still had great service. Will definitely be back for more of the same!
